Account Directors in The Search Agency’s Baltimore office are leaders and doers.  They help build and lead the team focused on managing search, display, and paid social campaigns on behalf of The Search Agency’s clients, and they are responsible for the day-to-day management of a small number of brand name accounts; building strong relationships with them.

Our perfect candidate will have a solid foundation in paid media tactics and strategies, and excel in client service. On a daily basis, you will leverage your extensive paid search industry knowledge, work with the team to create, manage, and optimize online campaigns, and interact regularly with clients to provide ongoing reporting, analysis, and ad optimization. Our ideal candidate will be a capable project manager and passionate about digital marketing and data optimization.

You will:

  • Mentor a team of account managers, analysts and content editors to execute on campaign objectives for clients
  • Serve as team expert for search engine marketing, The Search Agency’s tools and technology, account management, editorial processes, and analytics
  • Manage a book of business consisting of assigned clients’ online search marketing campaigns.
  • Create and implement custom search marketing solutions for assigned clients
  • Responsible for analyzing, recommending, and implementing improvements to meet client online search marketing ROI/CPA objectives
  • Understand and manage client media-buying cycles, product/service update schedules, online marketing philosophy and goals, target demographics, etc.
  • Produce detailed campaign performance analysis and presentations
  • Act as the client champion and agency representative to the search engines and ensure optimal campaign implementation
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training of new hires, giving critical feedback that is warm, honest, and inspiring.
  • Represent team on cross-functional projects
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned

You should have:

  • 6-8 years’ experience running paid search campaigns
  • Proven technical understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Proven ability to service clients in a digital environment
  • Adept at managing client expectations as it relates to scope and delivery of service
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to set team priorities and collaborate with other departments to deliver services

The Campaign Managers on our Paid Search team are responsible for the day-to-day management of a small number of brand name accounts and building strong relationships with them. Specialist, Paid Social & Display Media – Glendale, CA

The Search Agency is looking for a Coordinator to become part of our Display/Programmatic Media team.​ This position requires you to be highly resourceful, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.​ We’re looking for people who want to start – or extend – their career in digital marketing.

You will

  • Use internal workflow systems to communicate between Account Managers and Delivery Teams to facilitate ad campaign management
  • Support Campaign Managers by coordinating with clients and media partners to obtain all necessary campaign assets and ensure successful campaign set up and launch
  • Monitor ad delivery across various platforms and suggest performance optimizations for campaigns according to campaign KPIs
  • Review performance reports in MS Excel, QA formulas and raw data, and pull insights to share with the client about recent changes in performance that relate directly to changes in bids, scheduling, creative assets, advertiser promotions, seasonality, landing pages, etc.
  • Coordinate with Campaign Managers to ensure accurate and appropriate budget management, including ad schedules and bid adjustments
  • QA creative submissions and troubleshoot issues that may occur while the campaigns are in progress, or prior to launch
  • Brainstorm creative concept ideas based on best practices for new ad tests, including images, copy, call-to-action, and landing page
  • Use DoubleClick platforms (Campaign Manager and Bid Manager) to build, traffic, and optimize digital media campaigns for a variety of advertisers (retail, real estate, B2B, finance, etc.)
  • Support product team evolution through brainstorm sessions, process documentation, and execution

Campaign Manager, Paid Social / Programmatic Media – Glendale, CA

The Search Agency is looking for a Manager of Paid Social Campaigns to join its growing Display/Programmatic media team. Our perfect candidate will be an enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and hardworking professional and have extensive experience with social ad buying, along with client-facing experience monitoring and reporting on paid advertising campaigns.

 You will:

  • Plan and manage campaigns on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat, working within the native tools on each platform to execute and optimize campaigns.
  • Determine set-up, including: testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaign.
  • Combine data analysis and client feedback to configure, operate and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives.
  • Advise on paid social content calendars to guide marketing partners on their paid social strategy.
  • Leverage research tools and resources to plan campaign tactics that adhere to client goals and target audience. Research industry benchmarks by platform and client vertical.
  • As necessary, build campaigns and ad sets within DoubleClick to traffic ad campaigns across multiple platforms. QA the campaign builds and initial data to ensure successful launch.
  • Optimize Display campaigns to meet and/or exceed advertiser goals through copy changes, bid adjustments, and placement testing.
  • Brainstorm creative concept ideas and targeting tactics based on best practices for new ad tests
  • Communicate weekly progress on all client campaigns and provide insights that highlight the story behind the data.
  • Collaborate with Earned Media teams to run Paid Social strategies alongside organic social strategies and content

You should have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in social buying, paid media execution, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of paid social landscape, including optimization techniques and strategies, bidding models, and ad units across variety of social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Dashboard, Google Adwords, and other major social buying platforms
  • Knowledge of web analytics, social analytics and techniques, particularly KPI’s on Facebook and Twitter
  • Strong Interest in digital media platforms and technologies, with a desire to keep informed about new trends.
