Manager, Paid Social, Programmatic & Display Media – Baltimore, MD

The Search Agency is looking for a Manager of Paid Social, Programmatic & Display Media to join its growing Baltimore team. Our perfect candidate will be an enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and hardworking professional and have extensive experience with social ad buying, along with client-facing experience monitoring and reporting on paid advertising campaigns.

 You will:

  • Plan and manage campaigns on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat, working within the native tools on each platform to execute and optimize campaigns.
  • Determine set-up, including: testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaign.
  • Combine data analysis and client feedback to configure, operate and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives.
  • Advise on paid social content calendars to guide marketing partners on their paid social strategy.
  • Leverage research tools and resources to plan campaign tactics that adhere to client goals and target audience. Research industry benchmarks by platform and client vertical.
  • As necessary, build campaigns and ad sets within DoubleClick to traffic ad campaigns across multiple platforms. QA the campaign builds and initial data to ensure successful launch.
  • Optimize Display campaigns to meet and/or exceed advertiser goals through copy changes, bid adjustments, and placement testing.
  • Brainstorm creative concept ideas and targeting tactics based on best practices for new ad tests
  • Communicate weekly progress on all client campaigns and provide insights that highlight the story behind the data.
  • Collaborate with Earned Media teams to run Paid Social strategies alongside organic social strategies and content

You should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in social buying, paid media execution, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of paid social landscape, including optimization techniques and strategies, bidding models, and ad units across variety of social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Dashboard, Google Adwords, and other major social buying platforms
  • Knowledge of web analytics, social analytics and techniques, particularly KPI’s on Facebook and Twitter
  • Strong Interest in digital media platforms and technologies, with a desire to keep informed about new trends.
  • We’re looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and data optimization. You should be always looking for a more-effective or efficient way to get things done.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills. Able to set priorities for various tasks, and adapt to those priorities as needed.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLookup formulas, etc.
  • Experience with DoubleClick platforms (DFA, DCM, DDM, DBM, DS) preferred.
  • Experience with GA reporting tools a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker who can recognize critical issues and focus attention accordingly.
  • A self-starter with a very high work rate—able to get things done without constant input and support. Works well both independently and collaboratively. Enjoys a challenge!
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with the professional demeanor and ability to relate well with team members, upper management, clients, and media partners. Impeccable character and high ethical standards.

Account Manager – SEM/Paid Search

TSA’s Paid Search Account Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of a small number of brand name accounts and building strong relationships with them. They will leverage their paid search/display industry knowledge, work with the team to create, manage, and optimize online paid search campaigns and interact regularly with clients to provide ongoing reporting, analysis, and ad optimization.

This position requires a candidate who has a solid foundation in paid search tactics and strategies, and who excels in client service. Our ideal candidate will be a capable project manager and passionate about online marketing. The role requires a strong eye for detail, analytical skills, and the ability to make decisions independently.

You will:

  • Manage a book of business and ensure all goals and deadlines are met
  • Provide best-in-class SEM and Display deliverables and regularly communicate performance results.
  • Find opportunities for the growth of accounts
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to meet client’s online marketing objectives
  • Identify ideas/solutions to meet client’s strategic objectives
  • Develop/Partner with team members to develop strategic campaign structures and unique search campaigns
  • Adopt high quality account management and channel best practices

You should have:

  • 3-6 years’ experience running paid search campaigns
  • Proven technical understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Proven ability to service clients in a digital environment
  • Adept at managing client expectations as it relates to scope and delivery of service
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to set team priorities and collaborate with other departments to deliver services
  • Good energy. Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to represent and promote TSA in a professional manner
  • Must be open to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree – or equivalent work experience – is required.
