Great post Jaime! Do you have a unique profile with Periscope in addition to Twitter or are they the same? I’m wondering if you are live if Periscope will notify your followers on both services.

      Hi David,

I personally have my Periscope account linked to my Twitter account, but recently Periscope added an update that allows users to use their twitter account or phone number to create an account.

When you go Live on Periscope your followers will get a notification that you have begun your stream and you can also Tweet out a message to your followers that you will be live in a moment.

Terrific post Jamie, I did not know that much about Periscope and now feel that I have a great understanding of it!
