Palmer, an operations and marketing executive with more than 17 years of experience, was most recently a Principal in 2 Degrees Ventures, Inc., a branded entertainment professional services agency.

On April 28th, 2008, The Search Agency announced that it received a strategic investment from JMI Equity, a leading private equity firm focused on investments in growing software and business services companies. The Search Agency plans to use the investment from JMI to expand its sales and marketing efforts, and to support the continued research and development of the company's proprietary technology.

Prior to 2 Degrees, Ms. Palmer held the position of Senior VP at Ameriquest Mortgage Company, responsible for all aspects of marketing including a $100 million annual Internet marketing budget. She previously rose from VP Marketing to VP Business Development to Senior VP Marketing Operations at United Online and was responsible for customer acquisition and retention, as well as member lifecycle and user experiences. She began her career in the entertainment industry at Paramount Pictures, Planet Hollywood and Universal Studios Hollywood.
