Current Openings:

The Manager of Social Media Strategy is a member of The Search Agency’s Paid Media team, and will be responsible for creating, monitoring, optimizing, and reporting on Paid Social campaigns for our clients. Our perfect candidate will have extensive experience with social ad buying, along with client-facing leadership in campaign and data strategy. You should have worked with multiple API platforms, have an affinity for data, and be able to think on your feet.

You will:

  • Plan and manage Paid or Sponsored Campaigns on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat, working within the native tools on each platform to execute and optimize campaigns.
  • Determine set-up, including: testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaign.
  • Combine data analysis and client feedback to configure, operate and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives.
  • Advise on paid social content calendars to guide marketing partners on their paid social strategy.
  • Participate in team discussions on tracking, tagging and targeting related to social media.
  • Lead the monitoring and reporting of campaign performance and proactively communicate any issues to internal team and client, when necessary
  • Collaborate with Earned Media teams to run Paid Social strategies alongside organic social strategies and content
  • Provide active voice of optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities

You should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in social planning, paid media execution, and strategy.
  • Knowledge of paid social landscape, including optimization techniques and strategies, bidding models, and ad units across variety of social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the social ad technology landscape to create, find, and leverage custom audiences across 1st party DMP and 3rd party data sources.
  • Experience using Facebook Ads Manager & Power Editor, Twitter Ads Dashboard, Google Adwords, and other major social buying platforms
  • Deep knowledge of Facebook & Twitter pixels to collect custom audiences.
  • Experience managing at least one junior buyer preferred, but not necessary
  • Knowledge of web analytics, social analytics and techniques, particularly KPI’s on Facebook and Twitter
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in online advertising environments having managed a multitude of paid social buys (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)

We are looking for a Campaign Manager to join our Display Media team and grow with the agency. Our perfect candidate will be an enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and hardworking professional with a demonstrated understanding of the digital display and programmatic media marketplace.​

You will:

  • Become a subject matter expert for Display and Programmatic Media at the agency.
  • Leverage research tools and resources to plan campaign tactics that adhere to client goals and target audience. Research industry benchmarks by platform and client vertical.
  • Develop, plan, and present Display Media proposals for new client pitches, and current clients wanting to expand their online presence through Display Media.
  • Communicate directly with publishers and networks on media proposals and RFPs.
  • Build campaigns and ad sets within DoubleClick to traffic ad campaigns across multiple platforms. QA the campaign builds and initial data to ensure successful launch.
  • Optimize Display campaigns to meet and/or exceed advertiser goals through copy changes, bid adjustments, and placement testing.
  • Brainstorm creative concept ideas and targeting tactics based on best practices for new ad tests
  • Communicate weekly progress on all client campaigns and provide insights that highlight the story behind the data.
  • Analyze campaign results and discuss implications and insights with account management teams; Recommend future Display Media opportunities that align with client goals.

You should have:

  • Strong Interest in digital media platforms and technologies, with a desire to keep informed about new trends. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and data optimization. You should be always looking for a more-effective or -efficient way to get things done.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills. Able to set priorities for various tasks, and adapt to those priorities as needed.
  • 2+ years of digital media management experience (campaign management, digital media planning, ad trafficking, or digital advertising).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLookup formulas, etc.
  • Experience with DoubleClick platforms (DFA, DCM, DDM, DBM, DS) preferred.
  • Experience with GA reporting tools a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker who can recognize critical issues and focus attention accordingly.
  • A self-starter with a very high work rate—able to get things done without constant input and support. Works well both independently and collaboratively. Enjoys a challenge!

Our Managers of Web Analytics are part of our growing data science team: a highly visible group within the organization, and an integral part of the agency’s growth strategy. We leverage data mining and machine learning algorithms to translate data into actionable insights, offering our clients a suite of analytics products, including: tracking, dashboards, insights, predictive analytics, and marketing attribution.

In a nutshell: we’re looking for a data-oriented person that can translate numbers into a story; a Google Analytics expert with experience presenting to senior-level audiences. You will be responsible for setting up Google Analytics tracking, developing an analytics roadmap, and presenting insights to clients. 

You will:

  • Lead analytics engagements with clients by managing client relationships, working with technical teams to ensure proper tracking, and analyzing data to present relevant recommendations to clients
  • Lead all web analytics tracking initiatives; mainly using Google Analytics: Generate tracking code (standard/custom), troubleshoot existing implementation, use Google Tag Manager to implement for new clients
  • Analyze visitor level data to understand user behavior across devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop) and marketing channels (Earned, Paid Search, Display, Direct, Social, Referrals)
  • Review client’s business to identify and recommend KPIs, macro and micro conversion goals to be tracked
  • Develop an analytics portfolio to get The Search Agency approved as a Google Analytics Premium Reseller
  • Create visually appealing and strategic dashboards for clients using BI platform and Excel
  • Train internal and external clients on use of Google Analytics and any new features

You should have:

  • Strong expertise in Google Analytics, Omniture, and other analytics platforms
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights
