Consumers Search Before Buying Wireless
*37 percent of all shoppers said that search more than any other channel most influenced their decision to buy wireless

*70 percent of people who bought their phones offline used online research before making their decision

*61 percent of consumers said they would expect a top wireless brand to be in the top three results

*24 million consumers are expected to do a keyword search on wireless service by the end of 2005

Online Vacation Purchases on the Rise
*88 percent of U.S. online users purchased their summer vacations online in the April - June 12005

*61 percent of online consumers purchased or planned to purchase airline tickets online - a jump of 12% since last year

*53 percent of survey respondents said that they would travel with the company that offered the lowest price

*78 perecent said that they chose travel sites based on price

*28 percent said that they mad etheir choices based upon frequent flier miles or other loyalty programs

*Comparison shopping is also quite common; 60 percent of shoopers who viewed Hotwire also viewed Orbitz, Expedia, or Travelocity

The Popularity of Map Searches
*85 percent of U.S. internet users have searched for maps and driving directions online

*Yahoo Maps was the most-visited map site with a 41 percent share

*Map Quest was the second-visited map site with a 33.4 percent share

*Google was the least visited site with a 10 percent share
